Metal conventional valve trays are widely used in the petrochemical industry in mass transfer processes such as distillation, stabilization, absorption, and desorption under pressure, normal pressure, and reduced pressure.
The F1 metal conventional valve tray is a circular valve piece stamped from a steel plate. There are three valve legs below it. After installing the three valve legs into the valve holes of the tray, use a tool to twist the valve legs under the legs. 90°, the float valve is restricted in the float hole and can only move up and down but cannot leave the tray. When the gas velocity is large, the float valve of it is blown up to the maximum opening; when the gas velocity is small, the dynamic pressure head of the gas is less than the self-weight of the float valve, so the float valve of the F1 metal conventional valve tray falls. The three downward-sloping spacers on the periphery of the float valve are in contact with the tray, and the opening is small at this time. The function of the spacer is to ensure a certain opening when the gas velocity is small, so that the gas and the liquid on the F1 metal conventional valve tray can bubble evenly and avoid the float valve and the tray from sticking. The opening of the F1 metal conventional valve tray's float valve automatically adjusts with the gas phase load in the column, which can increase the mass transfer effect and reduce mist entrainment.
