In order to enhance the push flow function of the guided metal conventional valve, in the 1990s, Tianjin University improved the strip float valve into a trapezoidal float valve, and therefore developed a new type of guided trapezoidal float valve. The trapezoidal structure greatly improves the liquid pushing effect of the original strip float valve. The gas that was originally blown to both sides is changed to have an included angle in the direction of the liquid flow, so that the gas coming out from both sides of the valve and the guide hole jointly oppose each other. The liquid flow produces a forward pushing effect.
The performance comparison between the guided trapezoidal conventional valve and the F1 type conventional valve tray has the following advantages: ① The tray structure is simple; ② The pressure drop of the tray can be reduced by 15%~20%, the lower limit of the gas phase load can be reduced by about 1/3, and the upper limit of the gas phase load can be reduced It can be increased by 10%~20%, and the operating flexibility is greatly improved. Guided conventional valve trays have been used in the atmospheric and vacuum column of oil refineries, benzene removal column in gas plants, and ethanol units instead of F1 type conventional valve trays, and have achieved remarkable results.
Applications
· Main fractionators of refineries
· Gas concentration columns of refineries
· Light end columns of petrochemical plants
· LNG / NGL fractionation columns
· Absorbers and regenerators of gas sweetening plants
